FOOD OF THE WORLD
Warm Up: Think about your nationality or the country where your parents were born. Try to remember a dish that is from the country and describe it to the class.
Whole Class:
Write down foods that you have tried from other countries. Discuss
Make two columns in your book headed "Foods I like/Foods I dislike" and give as many examples as possible in each.
Next to each example, write down which country you think the food may be from.
Individual:
Using the magazines, find recipes or ingredients that originate from another country.
Cut them out and stick them in your book. Annotate the recipes making notes about specific ingredients.
Complete the table, Food of the World.
